Responsibly Reopening – Because We Care

As you can see, our business owners and their staff are well prepared in their PPE or behind plexiglass barriers as they greet customers, while maintaining safe social distancing practices. 😷⠀⠀
⠀⠀
We do this because we care about your health and wellbeing. 💖 We want you to feel comfortable and confident that we are committed to taking all necessary precautions during this transition. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
✨Please continue to support small business and shop local. ✨⠀⠀

⠀⠀
While some relaxed lockdown restrictions are intended to help keep the economy moving, business will certainly be carried out in a manner that is consistent with advice from health officials and guidance from all levels of government. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Business owners will not be initiating any sales or promotions that are designed to attract big crowds and will be carefully adhering to all public health guidelines. The #CurbTO program will also continue to roll out across the city.⠀⠀

⠀⠀
Some standard examples of how business owners will help keep employees and customers safe include:⠀⠀
• Actively managing entry into their stores by placing employees, signage and visual cues such as cones or tape⠀⠀
• Encouraging employees and customers to wear face coverings, such as non-medical masks or scarves⠀⠀
• Managing lines inside the store by placing tape every two metres (six feet)⠀⠀
• Allowing for online or over the phone orders⠀⠀
• Scheduling pickup times for customers⠀⠀
• Defining a process for ho

w employees interact with customers – especially related to loading vehicles, appointments, and payments⠀⠀
• Where possible, only accepting payments by credit card, debit or gift card⠀⠀
