Indian Sweets – A Diwali Celebration

November is a month full of celebrations!

Our local shops always have a wide array of tasty treats avilable, and Mess Hall is are offering classes that highlight the flavours of our neighbourhood.

Let’s start with dessert! Diwali’s most popular sweets are a symbol of happiness and are given to family and friends to make the festivities memorable.

Celebrations continue by laying out a deliciously savoury Indian spread: Indian CondimentsIndian Appetizers, Flatbreads, and Curry Base – culminating in a Grand Dinner.

Each of these classes will highlight simple preparation techniques and showcase the astounding complexity of flavours found in Indian dishes. Select your favourites, or save when you do them all.

Leading these classes, we welcome Vaishali Patel, a community member and home cook, to delight us with her passion and skills for Indian cuisine.

Join us this month as the kitchen is filled with delicious food, great talent and physically-distanced sharing!

Eat well, stay safe, take care of each other.

ALL NEW ADULT CLASSES
All classes are capped at 8 attendees in order to keep everyone healthy and safe, and to give each person top notch instruction. Mask wearing is mandatory for all. Frequent hand washing is, as always, essential in our kitchen.
